Not really a fan of this article, sadly. There are some decent points being made, but they ultimately get undercut as Ian Larson constantly refers to the releases as NES releases, essentially viewing the games from a USA-centric viewpoint therefore paying lip service to his claim of the importance of legitimizing gaming from marginalized groups or non-dominant gaming regions.
