Its irelevant if the hardware is enough or not, its dated. Chip is from 2015. So small increase in spec would be what? Chip from 2017? And that would need to run games 6-8 years from release!? New Nintendo console is going to be much more powerfull, but at what price I dont know. Maybe we lose batery life, maybe something else, but releasing new console with projected lifetime till 2032 and hardware from before 2020 simply isnt possible.
This could be possible because maybe there is a moment in the industry. Nintendo has huge market share. Microsoft is in a lawsuit that could easily be solved if they get Microsoft exclusive games on Nintendo, also that opens up Japanese market, and with XBOX they lost but not with Game Pass. nVidia would gladlly shove it to Sony (and Microsoft) for choosing AMD so thats their intrest. All in all three big players have huge interest in this and if they all chip in in developement, we could get power Switch with good batery life, great specs and BC. They can do it certanlly with current technology, only question is how much to gamble, because it shouldnt be more expensive then PS5, and for that they need to count return from selling games. Also why not make two version like iPhone. Both have same CPU/GPU/RAM but "Pro" has OLED, more disk, etc. Pro could cost more then PS5 if the specs are there.
This works, but couple of things noticed: 1) I used JBL TUNE700BT 2) Had no lag with them works perfectlly 3) this one is important! Volume on Switch is independent from Volume of headphones. That means that when I maxed the volume on Switch it was still very quiet, but than I maxed the volume on headphones, and god it was loud!
Has anybody mentioned something about scratches that dock leaves on Switch screen? As for now, dock scratches the part of the screen that is not showing picture. New OLED Switch has wider screen and scratches would be seen during the gameplay.
