Splatoon 3 has been out for a few weeks now, but one thing we're still missing is the trio of brand new amiibo.
As you might recall, in August Nintendo revealed Inkling (yellow), Octoling (blue) and Smallfry would be arriving at some point "this holiday". If you're wondering if these amiibo will be delivered before the end of the year, right now everything seems to be on track.
According to a recent update to Nintendo's safety pages, date of certification took place at the end of August for Smallfry and on September 12th for the Octoling and Inkling - meaning the gap between now and the release of these products shouldn't take much longer.
GoNintendo adds to this, noting how it's "typically a 2-month wait" between the production ending and stores receiving stock - estimating they could arrive on shelves between "late October to early November".
In related news, Nintendo has recently restocked lots of older Splatoon amiibo and released the Minecraft Steve and Alex Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo:

We’re overdue for slosher representation! And Blaster, Nozzlenose, .Gal, Aerospray, and ‘O-Matic, I suppose.
I wish Nintendo would stop teasing us and just make full on statues of our favorite characters

I haven't bought new amiibo in years since I have kind of had my fill of purchasing them. I completely support the creation of new amiibo figures being created for new titles though. I just don't have much of a desire to collect anything the last couple years.
I just bought the marina and pearl one.... Do I need more? Maybe....
I hope the amiibo costumes they give are the three variations of the Hero Suit from Story Mode, that'd be really cool (I particularly like the tattered one myself).
all I need to know is if those salmon eggs are squishy like the Metroid
I always really liked the Smallfry from Splatoon 2 and now for one to become a main character like this with tons of personality, I'm really over the moon.
Really wonder what they're gonna give. I love most if not all of the previous costumes (yes, even the cursed one).

Getting these earlier than expected would be great and considering how cool the amiibo gear is it'll be interesting to see what these provide. I'm still expecting the inevitable Deep Cut pack next year!
Will the unlockables be revealed before the amiibo go on sale?
So, my wallet is only interested in ONE of these Amiibo's. My question; will they be sold separately or as a 3-pack? Anyone?

...What's it gonna be, like 5 per GameStop? I'll pass, I'm done collecting amiibo and partially regret getting into it too, they take to much space...
These are the first amiibos I'll be getting since the original inkling boy and inkling girl amiibos for Splatoon 1
If they're not as overpriced as the SS Zelda one... or exclusive to the Nintendo Store, I still don't trust them not to mess this up somehow.
As soon as I can order them, I'll be getting these amiibo...ideally in the 3 pack to save on packaging & multiple shipments.
