Last week's UK charts saw the meteoric rise of Two Point Campus on Switch, with the Nintendo console accounting for a huge percentage of the game's sales. While Sega's university sim has fallen out of the top ten this week (down to number 14, in fact), the Switch has remained the title's dominant home, with the current sales breakdown sitting as follows:
- Nintendo Switch - 68%
- PlayStation 5 - 14%
- PlayStation 4 - 14%
- Xbox Series X/S - 4%
Of course, these figures only represent physical, boxed copies of the game and they may be slightly skewed by digital downloads. However, Nintendo's dominance in this field is nonetheless an impressive feat — especially as it doesn't include digital sales in its figures.
Two Point Campus' slip has left a gaping hole at the top of the UK charts this week, and with no major new releases to fill it, Nintendo's classics have once again assumed their place in the upper bracket of national sales. Nintendo Switch Sports now returns to the number two spot, with titles such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Minecraft demonstrating the popularity of multiplayer and otherwise replayable games.
That's quite enough chit-chat from us, here's your look at the UK top ten for this week:

The games doesn't need Top 10 or whatever label as good games.
Even the unpopular games still have their audiences and peoples will still buy those games.
Nintendo Switch is Incredible! I can't wait until it outsells the gameboy/ gameboy color
FIFAAAAAAAAAA!
** shakes fist **
It's on Game Pass, which probably explains the low Xbox sales.
I still have to get the game myself, but I absolutely will down the line.
Right now I'm just still busy with Two Point Hospital and soon I'll move on to Splatoon 3 once that drops, so.
Hopefully TP Campus will have DLC and a physical version with the DLC packed in once I get to it! Starting TP Hospital with the DLC already included was nice as well.
Like the last few weeks, that’s a nice mix of games/platforms. Nice to see continued PS5 representation, too. What I’d love to see at the top of the charts though is a Super Mario Odyssey 2. Come on Nintendo!
I wonder what the sales breakdown is for multi platform titles FIFA and LEGO Star Wars?
@RadioShadow Next month Fifa 22 will be off the list.
and replaced by Fifa 23
Ah, the usual suspects. Funny to see Horizon at #1 considering it's bundled with the PS5, I really wonder how well it would be selling if it was not.
@The_Pixel_King I've been thinking about Super Mario Odyssey 2 lately. It can't be that far away now.
Where's the Top 40? Why we have it sometimes, but not always?
@NintendoEternity that won't take much longer, fwiw.
GTA V still making top 10. Absolutely incredible.
Even if you include digital sales, the Switch version of Two Point Campus is still likely the best-selling console version of the game, which is quite impressive.
