tERRORbane was a particularly interesting Indie game that 'did the rounds' in multiple showcases last Summer. Developed by BitNine Studio, it promises a comedic experience that'll subvert expectations; pleasingly it finally has a release date pinned down, arriving on Switch on 1st April.
On the surface this a title inspired by retro JRPGs, which is a well-represented genre. The twist, though, is that you are essentially put in opposition to the 'developer', spotting and noting down bugs. Below is some of the official description.
tERRORbane is a comedic adventure where bugs are your FRIENDS! Enjoy exploring a crazy and outlandish world, full of unique, quirky characters and homages to the history of videogaming, challenge the Developer with your creativity and be the Bane of Errors!

Oh wow, another meta-narriative. How original.
Kind of interested, as long as it runs poorly well.
I loved every game with this thematic so far, like Pony Island or There Is No Game, so I hope this one is fun as well. Won't hurt to try it!
