Only a few songs from the list above i have interest, the rest are just Blah for me.
Gimme Eurobeat songs and i will going crazy.
Edit: Happy by Pharrell Williams has been featured on Dance Dance Revolution A Arcade and i have ever played the song and got AAA score.
This is going to be one of those games that everyone is going to be briefly interested in hearing about the novel design but never actually buy and it will end up bankrupting the company. Cant convince me otherwise.
Mostly just your typical pop stuff.
I love a good rhythm game but nothing about this game's presentation, gameplay or soundtrack appeals to my personal tastes in the slightest.
There's actually some interesting picks, like A Tribe Called Quest, Fatboy Slim, Pixies, Kendrick & SZA
I would love to see a short demo of this game, it does seem interesting. But I'm worried about the actual gameplay and longevity of it.
What an odd collection of songs
This is honestly a pretty good mix of songs, with the obvious pop charts backbone and just enough oddball selections to make it interesting. I'm not sure I can resist a game that lets me mix "Jolene" with Megadeth guitars and a Deadmau5 beat. It will probably sound terrible, but just the idea of it fills me with joy.
It's still not my genre of choice and I'm waiting for reviews on gameplay, but this has a lot of potential.
Yes! Never Gonna give you up is on here so I can now Rick Roll my friends on the Switch!
I now want this game so I can have an excuse for Rick Rolling My friends!
Not enough rock 'n' roll.
I wish they would have released frequency 2 at some point. Or rerelease 1.
I’ll keep my eye on the reviews for this because they hands on previews and videos still cannot explain anything about how this game works to me.
I think it's a decent song list, but the whole concept of being some bloke playing records is offputting. It feels like they're doing it to distance themselves from the plastic band games, but seems to somehow miss the point of those. We want to play the rockstar fantasy, not be some wannabe playing someone else's music (and yes, I can see the irony in that).
Actually quite a fun collection of popular songs tbf. I'm more of rocker (two or three in there) and older school hip hop (two or three in there?), but cool enough.
Megadeth and Rage Against the Machine bring back memories. Ha ha
Love how they included a few meme pics in there. Seems like I'd be fun to mix all-star and never gonna give you up into other songs
Highlight of that track list is clearly O-Zone's Dragostea Din Tei
I think this song list will negatively affect sales. However, I won't pretend to know a magic list that will have mass appeal.
I could have fun with the Just Dance 20xx series or Rocket League's songs though.
Another thing that will negatively impact sales is its price!!! £60 or whatever....... CRAZY!!! And i bought their Dropmix & a boatload of packs a few years back.
Fuser is basically the gameplay from Dropmix........ in videogame form
Kind of sad that Dynamite by BTS isn't in... love that song
I would go for this if the songs would let you play in unedited mode. Radio edits in a game about creating music is lame.
@doctorhino This game isn't about creating music, it's about playing someone else's.
I can’t wait to mix Killing In The Name into Happy or Old Town Road...
@Antiriad2097 straight from the description on the eShop
Combine elements of the world’s most popular songs to create your own sound or partner with friends on epic collaborations, then share your amazing mixes and headlining performances with the world!
Combine elements, create your own sound. I never said from scratch.
@doctorhino Yes, the game description is a tad misleading. The whole DJ industry seems to work around this false premise.
So is this just a DJ Hero rebirth? Them games had some awesome mashups
@Antiriad2097 it makes it seem like you can pull different instruments from each song to use. I doubt it will be that robust but compared to dj hero you will have some control.
