Niantic has launched the Pokémon GO AR Photo Contest this week, challenging players to snap "epic AR photos" while trying to catch 'mon.
Trainers are asked to capture photos and upload them to Instagram with the hashtag #PokemonGOcontest. Should your image be selected as one of the top 10 picks, you'll win a Pokémon GO Prize Pack containing a Pokémon GO Plus, a poster autographed by the Pokémon GO team and a pair of wireless Bluetooth earbuds.
The cut-off date is October 25th. You can check out the rules and small print here. Will you be taking part?

Chances of finding a decent Pokémon near any countryside scene:
Slim.
@AlexOlney
Find a Pokemon from a city and go to countryside while you are still trying to catch it to take the photo.
If only you weren't travelling at a million miles an hour on a plane. I'm sure the crazy photos of a Pidgey standing on a cloud would be a great laugh. It would be a tall order to get a legendary bird in the wild, but imagine seeing Moltres attacking a plane.
The ultimate laugh would come from seeing a Magikarp splashing through the clouds as though still swimming.
My phone doesn't have a gyroscope, so I can't participate. All the same, this is a neat idea.
All I need is either a fire or water type, then I can take a picture of it with a column of smoke or the red sun.

@Luffymcduck I think after you travel a set distance it runs away...
@DarkRula I've tried using Go on a plane, didn't work because you don't usually have service up there.
