The Pianta Parlor is a shop located in Rogueport in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. This place is home to many unique prizes, and you can redeem a currency called Pianta Tokens to get some of these prizes for yourself. Though the Pianta Parlor starts with nothing but slot machines, it’s possible to unlock four different mini-games.

If you’re interested in some of those prizes, here’s everything you need to know about the Pianta Parlor, including where to find it, all minigames, how to unlock them, and every single prize you can earn at the Parlor.

Where to find the Pianta Parlor

You'll find the Pianta Parlor in the western part of Rogueport. This large casino is home to Badges and prizes, so it's worth seeking out as soon as you can.

How much does it cost to play the minigames?

It costs 10 Pianta Tokens to play each mini-game. If you run out of Pianta Tokens, you can use the exchange machine by the front desk to turn your Coins into tokens.

The exchange rate is kind of cheap (3 coins = 1 token), so you won’t be able to turn your Coins into 234 Pianta Tokens to easily get the Money Money Badge.

Pianta Parlor Prizes

The Pianta Parlor boasts a wide selection of prizes, and more are added every time you obtain one of the four Member Cards (Special Card, Silver Card, Gold Card, and Platinum Card).

In addition to selling several neat Badges, the Pianta Parlor stocks two particular items of interest: Cake Mix (6 Pianta Tokens) and the Money Money Badge (234 Pianta Tokens). Cake Mix is required for some Trouble Center side quests, while the Money Money Badge opens up some incredibly powerful money-farming techniques.

Plane Game

Turn into a paper airplane and fly as far as you can. There are bonus panels on the floor that alter the amount of Pianta Tokens you receive at the end. You’ll receive more Pianta Tokens the farther you fly.

Paper Game

Use paper mode as soon as the wind starts blowing to avoid losing time! Beat everyone else in the race and you’ll earn Pianta Tokens for your trouble.

Tube Game

Roll through an obstacle course as fast as you possibly can, and you’ll receive Pianta Tokens based on your time. If you fall off the course, you won’t have to start all over again – you’ll just respawn and lose out on a time bonus.

Boat Game

This is probably the most difficult mini-game in the Pianta Parlor thanks to boat mode’s somewhat finicky controls. If you manage to float through the obstacle course without touching a whirlpool, you’ll receive a technical bonus in the form of more Pianta Coins. You also receive Pianta Coins based on your time.

Where do you find Member Cards?

Member Cards are found by completing Trouble Center requests that are unlocked as you progress through the game. To find out which quests you need to complete, head over to our Trouble Center guide.
