So it seems every day my Gamepad touchscreen is extremely out of calibration, but it only seems to do it when I turn it on for the first time each day. I calibrate it, every thing works fine, then next day repeat. I called Nintendo and they said as long as it's not doing it very often it shouldn't be a big deal, and it isn't, it's just a minor inconvenience.
Hmmm.... I'm not sure either. Maybe it has something to do with where you leave it over night? It seems unlikely but it has to either be that or a hardware issue. Why don't you leave it in the kitchen one night and then your bedroom and then the living room and see if the problem persists. It probably will, but then you'll know for sure that it's the hardware.

I'll try that! I currently just leave it on it's stand on a table in the living room, but I'll try a different room tonight. I'll also try to make the screen as clean as possible before going to bed.
As long as it doesn't get worse I can handle calibrating it once every day, though.
That is still a pain in the chops. You shouldn't have to be doing that every day. It'll get to a point where you'll stop turning the machine on because you've grown tired of having to calibrate it, and it'll be easier to turn on another console instead.
Nah it only takes about 30 seconds to boot it up and calibrate. I've done some more research and I think I've found the problem, but I'll update this post if anything works
