I'm looking for some recommendations for shops that deliver to the EU. I'm looking to import a Wii U (possibly another for a friend), I was gonna use videogamesplus in Canada, since I got my 3DS there and everything went smoothly, but unfortunately they sold out of the only two interesting bundles (MK8, WW). Any suggestions for shops that have preferably the MK8 bundle on stock and deliver to Europe, if possible with reasonable pricing/ delivery costs?
I'd appreciate any pointers, thanks in advance
Just curious: what would the benefits be of importing a Wii U from the US to EU, since it's region locked?
What do you mean since ? That's the whole .. the only point. Let me guess you are not European ? ^^ I dont know if there will be a benefit, it depends on the games that will be released, for the 3DS it is huge, huge huuugge benefit. I doubt I would have kept my 3DS had it been a PAL one. There is a whole bunch of games missing in Europe, esp. those niche games ala Atlus I really care for, at the very best you have to wait a year or more to get a "localization" (its not always one, sometimes, like SMTIV, its just a re-release basically). So no, I dont plan to take that risk, that Ninty has the brilliant idea to not bother releasing SMTXFE in Europe for like a year or more or maybe never ever. No sir.
@unrandomsam
Play Asia right thanks forgot about that. I should check there and maybe yes asia (recently got my 64GB VIta card from there).
May i ask why your importing a US Wii U? 3DS i understand as localisation is totally random but Wii U releases (Barring Scribble-naughts) have been no longer than a month apart. Is there another benefit?

I refer you to the post above. Why would anyone in his right mind take the risk of not being able to play what ever Atlus or someone else of their "calibre" might be cooking up for the Wii U in the future ?

If you get digital everything then every game would be substantially cheaper. (It will be fine unless something goes wrong with the system in which case you are likely to lose the whole lot).
Sidesteps also the 50hz stuff that is still on the PAL Wii U VC.

Freedom of the press is for those who happen to own one.

I plan to take advantage of the currency exchange rate obviously but thats not really the point and yeah digital all the way. I did it for my 3DS (not interested in carrying around karts anyways ^^) and I don't see why I would change a running system. Exception being Bayonetta as it looks ^^
But you are right, price could be named as an independent factor, but you have to account for the fact, that there is a lot of pressure on prices especially in the UK retailwise. YOu will cut yourself out of your own market if you go the import route. Nintendo tends to be more stable pricewise than Sony and Microsoft though, so its not that big of a consideration!
