Hiya!
Since I am in the mood with Epic Chef
(I played the PS4 version) so I create the thread about Epic Chef so we can discuss all about Epic Chef here, from cooking the ingredients, farming management and other things to do.
Recently, I have defeated the Festumancers to claim Epic Chef title, but the storyline was not finished yet. I still have clear all the cooking contest from all leagues to continue the final part of storyline.

Also, if you like the games with calculating the numbers to get higher points, this is the game for you as in Epic Chef, the order of ingredients when being cooked will determine the flavor points to get higher points. Every ingredients have their flavor points called Vigor (Red color) , Spirit (Blue color) and Sopistication (Yellow) and some ingredients will give you Synergy bonus when there is some other ingredients that matched or being cooked as 1st ingredient to unleash their dish Synergy from additional points to multiplier points.

So, let's start the cooking battle.

I copied this whole comment from Chit Chat thread to open the discussion.

Finally i defeated Festumancers in Cooking Battle from Epic Chef PS4 with my ultimate dish for the 3rd dishes that made of combination Dragon Egg + King Squid + Dragon Egg + Spirit Potato sauce at first before adding the ingrediens with Vigor = 1645 , Spirit = 184 , Sophistication = 353. The flavor points with exceeding 1000 points ! 😃
Because I took quite a lot screenshots from my PS4 Slim, so I collage the first six photos into 1 photo.

For the 1st and 2nd Cooking battle, I used 3 Ghostatoes combo + 20 points Sopistication sauce to minimize the Vigor penalty for 1st and 2nd round and since I used three Ghostatoes, I didn't get any penalty from my 1st and 2nd dishes with Zero Vigor points.

I won the Cooking battle with 3114 points accumulated. After I got Epic Chef title, the game was not still finished yet. I have to cleared all the cooking tournaments from three different leagues and other side quest to continue the storyline. I have to prepare a lot of ingredients for Cooking Battle.

So, my last progress of Epic Chef was winning some Cooking tournaments to rank up the level and I will get some tokens to be redeemed with various items such as outfits, sauces, decorative items, etc.
One of ridiculous rules from Cooking Battle I have encountered was from Fukunya (Nyarian League) which every flavor points (Vigor, Spirit and Sopistication) will be minus 2x. I was thinking how the heck I can win the cooking battle if all flavors will be negative points.
Then I got idea to minimize the penalty by cooking the dish with the lowest flavor points as possible and I found Wood Log have only 1 point on every flavor points so I only got minus by 18 points while Fukunya as my opponent got minus 30 points and I won the competition for having the smallest negative number.

@DreamlandGem
I think I have played Epic Chef for more than 40 hours. But here is one thing.
The game had a glitch in recording the accumulated hours gameplay as I have ever seen the hours accumulated suddenly back to zero hour. I was thinking that was a glitch.
Anyway, currently my progress is winning the cooking battles in Silver rank at Nyarian league, Culinary League. I still haven't checked the Magical league as I have to know the judge gimmicks (such as penalty for using certain ingredients or minus point on Vigor / Spirit / Sopistication). The ingredients restriction made me think carefully which other ingredients that can be cooked together and still give me higher dish Synergy.
If there is no restriction in using Sabotage sauces, I have to make sure the judge taste my dish first so the judge will carry the Negative points on certain flavor depend on what Sabotage sauce I added, so for the 2nd round, the judge have to taste my opponent dish as the judge still carry the Negative points and it will help me to win the competition by having bigger score than my opponents.

Okay, some progress of my Epic Chef PS4 just now.
I have reached Gold Rank from Nyarian League after beating some Silver rank chefs from Nyarian League. The gimmicks from Nyarian League was pretty nasty, from a lot of ingredients restrictions to minus flavor points and there was no restriction or bonus points from certain chefs.
I found the restriction of Mixed and Sopistication -2x from Cooking battle with Cook Fu was really tough as the Mixed products with Plants / Animal / Magic have pretty good dish Synergy bonus and flavor when combined with other property from different ingredients so I can only rely on Sea + Animal or Sea + Magic or Land+ Animal ingredients but have to have very low Sopistication points as the penalty was minus 2x of Sopistication points. The vegetables have small number of flavor points and don't have better dish Synergy than Seafoods or Spider flesh. So I used strategy Sabotage sauce and must have higher Aroma than my opponent for the 1st round so the judge will taste my dish first and got affected by Minus flavor points for 2 dishes in a row. And for the 2nd round, I must have nearly zero aroma to let my opponent got judged while the judge still have after taste effect so the judge will minus of flavor points that I added from my cooking. For the 2nd round of Cooking battle with Cook Fu, there were Sopistication -2x and Spirit = -1x penalty and because the judge still have bad after taste, all the flavor points from my opponent Cook Fu will be All Negatives and mine only got penalty from Sopistication =-2x, Spirit= -1x so I used strategy by using very High Vigor ingredients to cover the penalties from Spirit and Sopistication points.

My last progress from Epic Chef PS4 was clearing the Gold Rank of Nyarian league and Iron Rank of Magic League.
The Cooking battle was very tough, especially the Magic League as the judge gimmicks like Sopistication -2x for 1 turn and Spirit -2x for 2 turns. If I let the judge taste opponent dish first, he will get penalty from Spirit and Sopistication -2x but after that, when judging my dish, the judge taste carry Vigor 3x and I have to make my 1st dish have very High Vigor as I still got penalty Spirit -2x but will be covered by Vigor and Sopistication points. And for the 2nd round, I have to make very High Vigor dish and get tasted first since the judge taste still carry Vigor 3x so I will win the competition.
It was very tricky.

Okay, my recent progress of Epic Chef PS4 was collecting all the remaining outfits from Special tokens so no more tokens left and purchased the remaining construction stuffs from Jesus the Carpenter.
I have finished the storyline, no more missions, no more unlockable things so I can take care my farm for money supply and still have to cook something to feed my Birch, a big bird that I can ride on.
Oh, I still have one more mission to get Prestige level 95 by making some dishes that satisfy all my customers and they will gave me 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

Yo, long time I didn't touch this thread as I have finished the storyline almost 2 years ago and nothing I can do more after I beat all the chefs from Cooking Battle.

The only recent activities I did such as growing my Mandragora plants and Potatoes for making Ghostato by mixing Mandragora with Potato. Ghostato made quite a lot of money so I plant more Potatoes since it needs 2 Potatoes + 1 Mandragora to make a 1 Ghostato. Also, Ghostato is one of great ingredient to use in Cooking Battle since it will give you extra 30 points of Sophistication if you cook as 1st ingredient.

The Cooking Battle concept from Epic Chef was actually pretty good since it has calculation of your points from Vigor, Spirit and Sophistication aspects but I wish I can have a rematch with the chefs and the game will auto regenerate different rules and penalties every time you enter the Cooking Battle.
