Topic: Chantelise

Now available on Steam. I really want to like this game - the writing is good, the gameplay is fun, the character design is excellent. But it just clusterbombs you with enemies constantly. So much so that I've died innumerable times just in the first dungeon because this keeps happening in just about every room.

So... microrant over. Anyone picked this up and enjoying it more than I am?

Haha, I got to that room the last time I played the demo. While I agree that it's a little ridiculous, it is essentially a classic dungeon crawler. Probably easier than some, but still difficult. It certainly requires multiple runs. Keep in mind however, you have to select Story Mode to progress, but the area will remain unlocked if previously cleared, so it is fairly easy to just run past most of the monsters to get back to where you were.

I understand what you wanna say. I'm getting through the first dungeon and it's pretty difficult. What I can suggest is doing multiple runs as Ravage said, it definitely helps, believe me You can also upgrade your gear (buy the "health bottles" and try to get the treasures of the first map: they're a pair of gloves and a shield ). In addition, I'd tell you to try playing the game with a gamepad (I'm going to do it straight away) in order to "avoid" camera problems. I know it's a partial solution but, it's something
