I used to be a huge fan if the card game as well. I was also a fan of the Television series, even though when I watch it now, it's kind of bad. I miss the simplistic Yu-Gi-Oh!, you know, before you had all of these special summons and stuff. Regardless, it's still a very enjoyable game, and very easy to play if you watch the show, unlike the Pokemon TCG, which, personally, I find to be very confusing.
I used to play it, but I've been out of the loop for so long, they've completely changed the rules on me (well not cojmpletely, the basics are still the same, but damn there are so many new rules for me to catch up on!). I tried to play the Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds game on XBLA (which much to my disappointment did not involve motorcycles), and I could barely keep up against an easy computer. Hopefully I'll do better in the 3DS Yu-Gi-Oh game.
Pokemon is WAY easier then Yugioh. (for people who don't know how to play both). Because there's no Pokemon Trading Card game show to see how to play. I learned from the GBC color game but to set up and play is easy. I love using damage counters. I still got the old ones from when it was made by Wizards of the Coast.
I played it, well, I didn't really play it, but more collected the cards (never had anyone to play with). I also really liked that GX show. Though I remember back when I was saving up for a DSi, I sold my cards, now I'm regretting that. I loved the character designs, were really imaginative.
Yeah, that was a good show, maybe because it didn't take itself as seriously as the main show did, yet wasn't nearly as rediculous as Yu-Gi-Oh on Motorcycles.
@GundamMac They have a Yugioh game on Xbox Live? does it have online play?
I'm not a huge fan of the Pokemon TCG. I know how to play and I find it kind of dull compared to what Yugioh! has to offer which is alot funner and cooler to collect than Pokemon. I have 1 Legendary Collection 2 Binder, 2 home-made binders, 2 tins, an old Blue Eyes White Dragon book, and 3 decks in use at the moment. I'm trying to create an Elemental Hero deck but I don't have Polymerization ):
I always found Magic frustrating for some reason. Maybe it was because I never played it for very long and never made my own deck, but it seemed more luck based than Yu-Gi-Oh.
I use to play it a lot when I was younger. Before they had tuner cards and what-have-you (shakes cane and grumbles incomprehensibly)
I never was very good mind you... I liked playing with my favourite cards but could never build a winning deck. My brother always won. Like gundamMac I've been out of it for so long some kid would do some super-duper card combo and I'd sit their agape saying "You can't do that! That's cheating!".
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
