@JaxonH just rolled credits. Just wow. One hell of a boss fight if you ask me. After the 4th phase , I nearly wanted to throw my switch 😆. I wasn't expecting that many and I was spent by then. Damn near perfect game from start to finish.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it as much as I did. It really is a spectacular game.

I'm a huge fan of Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends. AAA 2D platformers that are in that elite group of excellence are hard to come by. DKC Returns, DKC Tropical Freeze, Super Mario Bros Wonder and Rayman Origins and Legends are pretty much it.

Even so, I'd rather have another 2D Prince of Persia from this team than another Rayman. And it hurts to say that because I really want a new Rayman. But... I like this more. I just do. So if I had to choose, I'd choose Prince of Persia Lost Crown becoming a staple series above all else. But, maybe alternating with Rayman to have both.

We're so blessed to have Metroid Fusion, Metroid Dread, Metroid Prime Remastered, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Hollow Knight and soon Hollow Knight Silksong all on a single OLED hybrid handheld. That's so dope.

And with Steamdeck OLED I have the entire Metroid Prime Trilogy with dual analog gyro aiming identical to the remaster, with HD texture packs and HD text/menu packs so all 3 games look remarkably similar to the remaster. Not as good, but reasonably close. Once Prime 2 and Prime 3 Remastered hit Switch though, I won't have need of it anymore. Still nice to have though with save states to instantly save and load. That's a huge QoL feature there.

I picked up FC24 on sale. Being the first FIFA using Frostbyte on Switch the animations are so much smoother and realistic. It's 30fps unlike all previous FIFA games on Switch which were 60, but frame timing is flawless so it feels smooth as butter still. Not a sports guy but I like soccer games. Picked up FIFA 18 on Switch that first year and have been waiting on the Frostbyte conversion. It's a good one to have. Prob gonna grab The Show 23 when it goes on sale since it has the Storylines mode for Negro Leagues which is awesome. And Show 24 has something similar but for different historical stuff. It's not on PC so having on Switch is a blessing. Only sports game I'm not interested in is NBA 2k, as some modes are cut and simulation basketball just doesn't feel fun imo. I like NBA Jam type stuff. With soccer and baseball though it doesn't feel too simmy.

Plants vs Zombies also has offline single player content, and that was on sale for like $8 so I grabbed it.

Man, Switch is a goldmine. Playing handheld with OLED screen and Mobapad M6 HD feels like the pinnacle of gaming. With Prince of Persia I don't think I've ever had a better gaming experience.

Ok so holy cow. I’m like 30 hours in and I never want this game to end. I think the last game that was so much fun just to play and move around was… Impossible Lair? Tropical Freeze? I don’t know, but it’s been awhile. I like this one more than Dread, but I’ve never been a big Metroid fan.

Anyway, I’m embarrassed to say that I literally just found out you can teleport to your chakram. lol. And I’m just in clean up mode before the end. That is gonna help soooooo much, I’m such an idiot.
