Topic: Lord of the Rings: Living Card Game

I remember seeing this announced in a direct with the other Asmodee board game conversions. It looked really interesting to me. I saw somewhere that it had a release date of May but it’s more than come and gone and I haven’t heard anything since. Anybody else know what’s going on?

Also I’m curious what other people are saying about the other Asmodee games so I know what to expect. I’ve been getting some mixed signals.

It just released today for Switch. I've played several hours of the Steam version, and I have to say that overall it's pretty good!

Is there microtransactions? The game itself cost like a 25 euros, do I need to pay more to get new cards or how this will work?

There are NOT micro transactions. The game comes with 2 campaigns (the original one, and a second one which was a separate expansion on PC). In the future there will be future expansions that can be purchased.

Yes, I’m really glad they are keeping it premium and not with the annoying micro transaction thing.

Overall I think if you are a LotR fan then you will like it.

I thought this was a game using in card game but was a board type card game.
