Genre:
Cartoonish Boxing / Kickboxing games like K-1 Pocket Grand Prix 1 & 2 GBA, Animal Boxing NDS. I really want that sport appear on Nintendo Switch.
@shazbot I think the Switch really needs at least one really good "realistic/real world based" FPS. Something in the vein of a Call or Duty or Battlefield. And honestly I'd really like either Activision or EA/Dice to build a Switch specific entry to those series. Just one would be totally fine but tailored to Switch, not a PS5 port crammed onto the system with tons of cutbacks and a year later.
I agree with @Anti-Matter that a Sims game would be cool to have too. But again, I'd hope for an entry tailored to Switch.
And I'd love another City Builder game. Cities Skylines is a great game but the port of the PC version just isn't quite there. I've really enjoyed playing on Switch, but I'd love a city builder that's better designed with the smaller screen in mind. Perhaps ditching the realism style and going for a more fantasy/artistic style. Perhaps a middle-ages city builder or a sci-fi one? Add in some resource management beyond just money too.
I agree with you that the Switch is missing out on quality licences sports games. With no madden and inferior versions of FIFA. Even though I don't like them myself I know many people do and I want them to be able to have fun.
My personal votes for existing IP/ports that I want on Switch go to Mass Effect 1-3 and Kingdom Hearts (at least 1+2 and the side games, I understand if KH3 is too much)
And eventually a Persona game too. That'd be my 3rd choice.
Finally, and I've pretty much lost hope that this will ever happen, I'd love an Advance Wars collection on Switch. 1, 2, Dual Strike and Days of ruin, on one collection release for a full 60 dollars. I'd snap that right up!

Wrestling - Fire Pro Wrestling World
3D Fighter - Tekken 7 or Soulcalibur 6
Other than that, I think most genres are pretty well covered on Switch.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,241 games (as of March 23rd, 2024)

@shazbot
No.
Pato was not Boxing game i'm looking for.
I want at least 3D Cartoonish Boxing game yet still looks cute and not Punch Out style.
If you know K-1 (Kickboxing in Japan) on PS1 & PS2, those are Kickboxing games i'm expecting about.
We already get Boxing mini game from Olympic 2020 but that wasn't really enough for me. It missed Health Bar as the most crucial thing to tell your boxer's condition.
Boxing games without Health Bar on top = Fried Noodle without noodle.
yes a f-zero new game would be brilliant also love viewtiful joe. I do play RMX and it really is very good, I think the markers of the game did a really good job with it, like the way the energy strips work.
I'm not sure what genre isn't on Switch at this point but IPs...
Nintendo:
-Golden Sun
-Advance Wars
-F-Zero
-Rhythm Heaven
-Warioware
-Wario Land
3rd Party:
-GTA
-Beyond Good and Evil (even if it would inevitably only be a port of the HD version of the original)
-Megaman Legends
-Viewtiful Joe
-Jet Set Radio
-Dishonored
-Deus Ex
-Klonoa
@Ninfan Intellectual Property, for example Mario is Nintendo's IP, Mega Man is Capcom's, Sonic is Sega's, etc.
No one should (and in country's with strong IP laws and enforcement, can) use those characters without their explicit agreement in the form of a licensing contract.
For example, Hasbro owns the Transformers IP and has licensed both movie studios and video game companies to make products using their characters / universe.
@shazbot For American Football just get Mutant Football League. If you go into the options menu and turn off deaths, dirty plays and field hazards, the game plays like Madden only with out the NFL licensing.

@NintendoByNature I am enjoying it, in fact I have it on all three systems. You can tell the devs are really trying to give the fans a Madden alternative and they are doing it really well. The only draw back to it is not all the teams are in the game yet but they are working on it. There is a season mode and everything. I have alot of fun anyway I play the game with all the hazards and dirty plays on or everything off to make it feel like a traditional football game. Definitely a must own on the Switch if you like sports games.
@Magician Well, we’ve got Pokken for a 3D fighter - and it’s a pretty good one, I guess. Feel like Pokken is one of those Nintendo titles that everybody forgets about, a bit like Yoshi and FE Warriors. Never see anybody talk about Yoshi!
The Switch is crawling with FPS titles now - I don’t think the “realism” of COD fills a particularly gaping hole. More good - and bespoke - games are always good, though.
The Switch could definitely use more competition in the sports arena - to have no alternative to the by-the-numbers updates on Fifa is a disgrace on Konami’s part as much as EA. Why put in any effort when you have literally no rivals? At least 2K is trying - and the failures are spectacular!
@Krull - Pokken Tournament is a good game, no doubt. Then there's also the Naruto UNS games. But those are mostly carefree button-mashing affairs. I'd prefer something that would be welcomed at an EVO tournament.

@Tasuki maybe I'll check it on during the next sale then. Growing up i played the genesis games which I believe this game is based off of. And i know I liked it back then. So maybe I'll enjoy it now.
@NintendoByNature Actually it's made by the same guy that made the Genesis version. This is basically a spiritual seccessor to it. Regular price I believe is $20
