WHY is there no thread?! This was my favourite game last year, and for many others too. Team Cherry announced they've sold 2.8 million copies of HK, and well deserved. A trailer has been released of the sequel, titled Hollow Knight: Silksong, and this time you'll play the part of Hornet, which is so damn cool. It was originally going to be DLC, but their plans got so ambitious they just decided to turn it into a full blown sequel, and for that, I am ecstatic.
I’ll be picking this up too. I really enjoyed the first on Switch, although I only got the bad ending as I gave up on the hard platforming section the get good ending. The whole game was tough but the relief when you beat a boss you were stuck on felt earned. And yes, Hornet is damn cool.
It's been over a year since the last update from Team Cherry. Do you guys think, we'll get some Silksong news soon? Do you think Silksong will release in 2021?
@dionysos283 there are rumours on the front page that Edge magazine will have silksong on their next issue by the end of the month. Let's cross our fingers
@gcunit@Balta666
I really hope the rumors are true. It's ok, if Team Cherry wants to take its time to develop the game, but at least give us some updates from time to time.
I think Nintendo doesn't know what "coming soon" means since we are still waiting! It takes awfully long now, this can't be all Corona's fault. Maybe we won't see it this year either. Ah well, there's nothing we can do. Lets hope it will be great in the end!
So I just saw that the official Nintendo US page for Silksong is down. It probably doesn't mean anything but it's a little strange I guess. That picture of Wario more than makes up for it though.
@Helios26 I personally thought it was phenomenal, one of the best games I've ever played.
It would - however - greatly benefit from what Metroid Dread has just got: an "easy" mode that makes the regular boss battles significantly less of a bottle neck to less skilled players/players who don't have unlimited time.
@Helios26 The dark theme is not for everyone, so its ok if its not your thing.
But if you need help, don't be shy to look stuff up, as a lot of the fun is going to new areas.
@RubyCarbuncle I honestly don't think thats a real fair comparison, I never played ori, but when I played the demo it didn't seem anything like hollow knight, there completely different games.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!
