I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I just found, and purchased, the Dark Souls Remastered pre-order for Nintendo Switch for $29.49. The link is: https://www.target.com/p/dark-souls-remastered-nintendo-switc...

I don't know if this is a mistake or not (the Xbox One version is also $29.49), so if you're interested I'd jump on this.

Something about the $29.49 doesn't look right.
Here's what they don't tell you....

Subtotal (1 item)$29.49
Delivery$5.99 <<<<<-------------<<<<<<<< LOOK
Estimated tax$1.95
Total $37.43
That doesn't look like a discount to me. They made it look discounted but final prices show otherwise.

At that price it cost more then from BestBuy.

Got it for less when Prime was working before Amazon screwed Prime members over.

Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of comments about it:

1. Per your own message, the total with shipping (tax excluded) is $35.48. Even with this shipping cost you are getting a $4.51 savings over Best Buy's price of $39.99. See https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dark-souls-remastered-nintendo-s... for the product on Best Buy's website.
2. I have a Target Red Card, which gives me free shipping and an additional 5% discount. For my order it was:

Subtotal (1 item)$29.49
Delivery $0.00
Red Card discount -1.47
Estimated tax $2.44
Total $30.46

In summary, without the Target Red card, the discount I posted in this thread still exists, even with $5.99 shipping included. With a Red Card, this represents a substantial savings over other retailers.

There is a thread for Dark Souls!

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

@SlayerG one shouldn't assume others have the red card. I got GCU and got it for far less then the Target showing with pickup-nonmembers is whom will get hit with that extra charge.

@SwitchForce if you read my reply thoroughly you would know that I didn't assume people have a red card. In my first point I showed that even if you pay the $5.99 shipping fee you still save money off the $39.99 MSRP ($29.49 + $5.99 = $35.48). My comment about the red card was to give a path to free shipping. You could also add something to the order to get the order over $35, or opt to pick up the game in the store. Both options would also get the shipping charge waived.

The only reason you got the game for $31.99 is because you got the 20% Prime discount off the $39.99 price which, as you said, is no longer available. For those who didn't get that discount, and are interested in this game, this is a discount off MSRP.

TBH, you seem to simply be interested in arguing about this with me, and I'm not sure why. My goal was to give people an option to save money. Unless you have something constructive to contribute to this thread I'll no longer be replying to you.

@SlayerG Thanks for pointing out the deal. I'm not grabbing this title, but at least those on the fence have options. Every penny matters.
