I love reading Nintendo Life, but I also want to be surprised by the Direct reveal. I've managed to avoid photo leaks and details almost completely, and I'd love it to stay that way. I'm wary of reading even the headlines right now for fear of spoilers. Are y'all concerned about that for your readers, and do you have protocols to prevent spoilers?
@Gryffin Unfortunately, there's too much demand for leaks for outlets & content creators to ignore it. And it's slower news lately since the next AAA Nintendo games are still secret until switch 2 gets revealed.

I appreciate that, and I wouldn't want to withhold traffic from the site. I wonder if there is some balance that can be found. To be fair to NL, I have yet to be significantly spoiled by headlines. Here are my requests as a reader: 1. Headlines do not state spoilers. 2. Headlines are clear that the content of the story does contain spoilers. 3. Leaked or rumored images are not used as the header image or thumbnail for the story.
@Gryffin They avoid putting the spoilers in the title generally. And if you click on the article the top of the page will be tagged with e.g. rumour, leaks, spoilers. So you could look at the tags and then not read the articles.
They have said in the past that they mostly avoid reporting on leaks, but this week they have apparently given up and reported on a fair amount of the tidal wave of leaks.
Edit: I suppose the actual article pictures lately have technically been leaks too. Not sure how to deal with that.
Edit Edit: There is a 'topics' button on the left top of the Nintendo Life window. If you select Switch or e.g. eShop it presumably won't give you the Switch 2 articles. It would be better of you could do a 'everything but' view but I don't think you can
@FishyS I want to thank you. I use Feedly to read all my game news, from about a dozen sites. You gave me an idea to unsubscribe from NL overall, and subscribe more specifically to the Switch and eShop URLs. Now I don't see Switch 2 news at all in my feed. Seriously, thank you
