The only real prediction I have is that we see a new Donkey Kong Country. I'm REALLY enjoying Bananza and I wanna see how they'll continue the momentum.

@IceClimbers I'm leaning more towards RE2-4 remakes appearing in the Direct with Veronica saved for TGA. Veronica isn't on Capcom's September event schedule and those Capcom events are generally just recap of news revealed in other events. Based on that September event, I think we'd see these in the Direct from Capcom:

• Reminder that Dragon's Dogma 2 is releasing soon (maybe in the sizzle reel?)
• Reveal of RE2-4 remakes for Switch 2 alongside release date (maybe late October?)
• Mega Man Dual Overdrive release date (maybe March?)
• MH Wilds Switch 2 and Ascendance DLC release date (maybe February?)
• SF6 Arjun release date (maybe in the sizzle reel as a shadow drop?)

Not sure if the games I want will be announced (I do strongly suspect Ravenous will be announced at the General, but no one knows rn), but it's something.

• 40th Anniversary Special Edition Switch 2, Pro Controller revealed
• First look at the Zelda Movie
• The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds HD; releasing for Switch in January 2027
• Twilight Princess on NSO
• Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment Update/DLC
• An extremely short animation that just says a new 3D Zelda is in development; basically nothing will be shown but people will try to pick it apart anyway.

General Nintendo Direct Predictions:

• Open on Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, starting with a quick recap of existing information before segueing into a DLC reveal.
• Hollow Knight: Silksong: Sea of Sorrow release date revealed; potential shadow drop

Imma be honest, I'm trying to be more reasonable and keep my expectations in check but seeing us get 75 total minutes of content in these 2 Directs is blowing my expectations sky high. IDK how we could get that much content and not get a huge announcement at the end and I'm afraid to find out. This feels like something you don't do unless you're setting up a 2017-esque lineup chock full of bangers and that's probably not reasonable. I've probably lost my touch in terms of what they're doing but I'll make predictions anyway:

Zelda 40th:
-OoT blowout. We finally see actual gameplay, we learn whether this game is 1:1 or has larger changes, and we get a release date (probably some time in November).
-The leaked Zelda themed Switch 2 model
-Zelda Movie news
-Zelda Amiibo and other 40th anniversary merch
-Twilight Princess NSO
-Some other type of Zelda game, probably something smaller but maaybe something 2D Zelda for 2027?
-I don't think we see the new 3D Zelda yet

General:
-Reminders that Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave and Switch Sports Resort exist
-Metroid Ravenous official reveal
-Kirby Planet Robobot remaster with the usual added side mode. Maybe something starring Susie?
-Pokopia Expansion Pass Part 2 overview with a teaser towards Part 3, giving us the name and release date, maaaybe with a teaser of what the new area is.

I think the WW/TP HD pack will finally make an appearance, and it will be a S1 game.

It’s just a no-brainer if Ocarina is 2026 and you want to keep Zelda on people’s minds in 2027. Just seems like an easy cash-in for the anniversary; could probably charge 70 and get away with it, too.

I would love if there was another portable Zelda remake like Between Worlds (though personally I’d go Minish Cap), but I don’t know…

Wouldn't having a Kirby Triple Deluxe & Planet Robobot remaster combo be a better option instead of just one? I dunno why folks keep leaving Triple Deluxe out. Since I did like that game & stands on it's own merit...

@DanijoEX I mean they could and you'd think that makes more sense, but there's been leaks about Planet Robobot specifically and not Triple Deluxe from Nate the Hate (who's proven to be one of the more reliable leakers out there). It's not out of the question that they could skip Triple Deluxe, Nintendo's done this kind of weirdness before (see: Pokemon XD is on NSO but not Colosseum) and Planet Robobot seems to be more popular.

I'm also kind of iffy on them doing a combo because HAL tends to like adding on to their re-releases. See: Magolor Epilogue in RtDL Deluxe or Star Crossed Worlds in Forgotten Land S2E. I don't think they could do a dual pack AND an add on, I think you have to choose one or the other, and their past behavior implies they'll probably do the latter.
