@IceClimbers It's a rather safe guess that one of those titles is going to be 2D Zelda remaster/remake because of how they approached Mario (Galaxy in October, Wonder in March) which could be announced in a standalone Zelda 40th anniversary Direct. Pokemon Gen 2 got split up between September 2017 and January 2018 for 3DS VC so could be they have for Gen 3 that Ruby and Sapphire in early October 2026 then Emerald shadow dropped in February 2027 Pokemon Presents (or announced a week earlier like they did with FRLG).

I'm not convinced that Duskbloods is still releasing this year (the way FromSoftware promotes stuff we would've gotten a release date trailer with the network test if it was) so that could fit in the window too. Add in a Nintendo Today drop or 2 and there you have it, a filled up January - March 2027 without needing a general Direct.

There it is! Zelda direct on the 8th and general direct on the 9th!

I'm assuming most of the Zelda one will be about Ocarina of Time, with a reveal for the controller and console, and the movie. Maybe there's something else in there? I could see some NSO stuff, like a Zelda challenge and adding Twilight Princess to NSO.
