@StarPoint Looks like I'm not the only one then. Outside of that one issue I just mentioned, I do like the app quite a lot. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon.
"Don't ever let anyone stop you from being kind."
Favorite games: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario 3D World, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart World
@MarioVillager92 I am an Android user too and this happens a lot to me too. Can anyone who uses Apple attest to this bug happening? Or are we the only ones who have this issue?
Seems like the pattern for new releases is every Monday night, which, if this service started in January would be about...52 releases a year. Still a dripfeed but still better than their Virtual Consoles.
@N00BiSH Considering how big Nintendo's library of titles is, that's not a very fast pace.
If it was me I'd do 2-3 a week, even if they're on different days. Eventually they'll get through the big titles and have to do deepcuts, especially if they plan to do their digital only titles across DSiWare/WiiWare/3DS/Wii U.
Like do a bigger notable game on Mondays, then a deep cut or smaller soundtrack on Wednesdays or something like that.
I think I'm gonna end up using it once a week for one of my trips to and from work. But one of those will be Mario Odyssey which will probably last me like 2+ months alone.
Shame DKC2 doesn't have the many variations of the death and level clear themes btw. There's literally one for every type of level. It and DKC1 are also obviously 10/10s btw.
@Dev1024 The upcoming CD may well be the reason for Splatoon 3's missing tracks especially since some songs have OST specific arrangements with complete endings.
The absence of Animal Crossing and Pokemon DLC though is bizarre especially since Mario Kart 8 Deluxe got all of its DLC included. Hopefully they will complete those soundtracks in the near future!
Some other features I wish they added were that I haven't seen others talk about:
The ability to toggle versions of songs (switching from daytime to night time in Zelda towns)
Lyrics (in the language they play)
Adding the ability to extend songs to more songs (Why don't the Zelda towns have extensions? Dark Beast Ganon? Battle Nemona? WINDMILL HUT??)
EDIT: On extensions, I also hope they allow you to decide how many times you want a song to loop, not just strict time codes (so you can loop 10 times, instead of just whenever 30 mins elapses)
I also hope that they allow adding more then 2000 songs, but that's for way in the future when playlists could conceivably have that many
Oh also more songs in general, I don't mind once a week, but I feel we need more then 1 playlist a week, unless it's really good (Wii sports isn't)
Well, Mondays rolling around again, which likely means we'll get another soundtrack release tomorrow. Anybody got any predictions? I'm gonna go with wind waker. No real reason, just got a feeling.
@Dev1024 I noticed this same thing, and you might be onto something with the Ordertune CD. Still a bit baffled by New Horizons not having its DLC music, though.
You can’t control the way others talk to you, but you can control the way you talk to others.
