Hey guys just a head's-up, but the Pokemon Home app has been taken offline for an undetermined amount of time due to a cyber security attack that exposed vulnerabilities on apps and websites across the web. So if you stored any of your Mon in the app and were planning to move them to another game, you may have to wait awhile to do so!

@Antdickens I figured you'd like to see the news tip as well. Here's a link with the story: https://nintendoeverything.com/pokemon-home-pokemon-champions...

Also it looks like Pokemon Sleep and Pokemon Champions are down for the foreseeable future as well...

@TensuraFan7 yeah I’m aware — all our systems were patched earlier today. It’s very widespread so will no doubt take others longer to apply patches.

Yes, a good many other sites and games are still down at the moment.
Some other sites have had an easier time of upgrading their PHP version and had minimal maintenance periods, but it looks many other sites have a much more challenging time of it for a variety of reasons.

Pokémon Sleep's unscheduled emergency maintenance started about 9 hours ago now. The game's main website uses Wordpress to deliver its site and news updates, and it looks as though those new updates may've been delivered directly through the app itself.
The app was already due to have a scheduled maintenance about 7 hours from now, which are usually performed for major client upgrades and content changes, and usually only last around 5 or 6 hours.
In the game's history, there's never been a disruption like this, so there is likely to be some kind of player compensation like an in-game gift or a make-up event, since extended inaccessibility can prevent players from making any of their three in-game meals a day (a core activity for weekly progression).
At a minimum, I'd anticipate something like bonus Drowsy Power given for the remainder of the week, to help compensate for the lost Snorlax strength gains.
