I'm very sure some of you have ever played video games with anthromorphic animals as the key character such as Animal Crossing, Star Fox, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Looney Tunes, Kao the Kangaroo, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, etc.
What is your favorite animal species for anthromorphic creatures?
My Top 5 Animals as Anthromorphic Animal characters:
1. Eagle

Some of my favorite animal characters in video games.
1. Kao the Kangaroo (New version)

I LOVE his looking as a Boxing Kangaroo. 😍
He looks way much better in new version.

2. Raymond from ACNH
Untitled

He looks the best from all cat villagers in Animal Crossing.

3. Kicks from Animal Crossing
Untitled

He looks cute and pretty short.
I think Kicks have the best design of anthromorphic skunk compared with Pepe le Pew from Looney Tunes.

@Anti-Matter I have Kick's amiibo! I think he was on sale somewhere so I picked him up because he looks cool. And I really don't have many amiibo. I haven't even played an AC since GameCube, though I will get New Horizons someday. Actually, I did just start playing Pocket Camp, which I'm enjoying.

I’m a sucker for bears and rabbits. Foxes/wolves sorta go without saying. But also, if they translate well into Mega Man X bosses, they’re on my good side, especially eagles

@Gryffin
I have some Animal Crossing Amiibo figurines for playing Amiibo Festival Wii U and I used Kicks Amiibo by the most so he got leveled up quickly to Lv 6 for Amiibo Festival board game.

@Anti-Matter tell my about Amiibo Festival. I don't know anything about it except that it's generally disliked. I love my Wii U though, so I don't see any reason to not try it

@Gryffin
Amiibo Festival have some different game modes from Board game mode and mini game modes.
Board game mode is using Amiibo figurines and gameplay is Monopoly style with objection to collect a lot of money and Happy Points.
By the end of the game, all of your money will be converted into additional Happy Point by 1000 G = 1 Happy Point.
The way you play the game by scan your Amiibo figurines everytime roll the dice and scan again your Amiibo after finishing the board game to accumulate the gained points so it will unlock new outfits and new emotion.
The other mini games mode, you use Amiibo Card to play the game.
I personally like Amiibo Festival and I used the gameplay style from its board game mode for my Math Club extracurricular from the board game I made for my students with inspiration from Amiibo Festival.
Peoples who dislike Amiibo Festival are probably judged the game from the other Animal Crossing standard and expecting the gameplay of Amiibo Festival must be same as traditional Animal Crossing, not judging the game as completely different style of Monopoly style board game.

Wolfgang from Animal Crossing is the best looking anthro wolf in my opinion.

@Anti-Matter sounds pretty fun to me. I imagine single player isn't super engaging though? Is it really more practically a multiplayer game?

I like anthropomorphic cat characters, like Felix the Cat. I guess he could count here, since he does have a few video games. But other than Felix, I do like the design for Blinx the Time Sweeper. Never played the game, but I liked the character.

I have a few. Personality-wise, I love Banjo and Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie a lot (as evidenced by my avatar, haha) I also like Sonic the Hedgehog too, both in personality and design. Design-wise, I like a lot of the villagers from Animal Crossing, including some of the characters already mentioned in the thread.

Some villagers that come to mind for me is Pietro (despite how much people hate him), Ankha, Bluebear, that mummy dog villager (I forgot his name, sorry), Francine, Chrissy, Marshal, the Splatoon-themed villagers in New Leaf, and most of the wolf villagers. I also agree that Kicks design is super cool. He looks very stylish. I have way more villagers I like, but I can’t remember them all since it’s been a million years since I last touched an Animal Crossing game.

For an animal that I really do enjoy seeing as anthropomorphic, it’d have to be squirrels. I also do like seeing bears anthropomorphic too.
