On a side note, all these people leaving really makes one realize that in life, people come and go sometimes. Sometimes they come back and sometimes they don't.

Assuming that I don't end up kicking the bucket somehow anytime soon, I hope to stick around for the foreseeable future, at least until sometime around the end of the Switch 2 console generation. At the rate things are going, that machine is going to be my last Nintendo console, and at the point in time that its successor comes out many years from now (I'm hoping that the Switch 2 console generation is even longer than that of the Switch 1 generation), future me might think that if I'm not super into the Nintendo ecosystem at that point, there would be no more point in future me hanging around. I don't know. That's for future me to decide, not current me. Current me wants to stick around for the Switch 2 generation.
