The AI stuff really sucks, but I kind of am hearing nobody talk about it anymore? It sounds like the YouTube AI skipped some accounts, from what some people said…the AI they’re trying to implement there is stupid. Speaking of YouTube, I won’t lie but I dislike the large emphasis on shorts. It makes it hard for me to find longer videos I want to watch, even when I search solely for videos, the setting randomly revert to all videos, including shorts…

Hope the replacement went well! I really want to play my Xbox to finish some games on there, but the HDMI cord needs to be repaired, game won’t even show up on my screen! Hope the Banjo playthrough goes well.

My backlogs are really just on the Xbox and phone. Though, not a lot of games to actually “beat,” since they don’t exactly have a story or ending to them.

@Pastellioli ive never heard of buncha crunch before, may i ask what its like? candy’s scrumptious but can definitely be addicting 😿 the other day i discovered this new candy called Squashies that are actually really tasty, and ate the whole bag. but whats wrong with a little treat every once in a bit! 🙂

Yesterday's news about Nintendo of America and the Pokémon Company attempting to patent summoning sub characters for battle is a blatant overreach. It would basically make it so almost all JRPG series can no longer exist without massively changing their mechanics (making them no longer the same, and also stifling creativity). I'm sorry, Pokémon is my favorite franchise ever, but I don't want Pokémon to be the only summoning sub characters for battle series! If they actually do get this patent and start using it to bully other game developers, then I am just done with Nintendo. For life. 😡😡😡 Honestly, the only reasons I'm not taking a break from this site right now is because I like chatting with y'all and that upcoming Nintendo Direct live blog chat tomorrow. I wouldn't take a break because I hate this site (I have no issues with this site at all), I would just take a break because I hate Nintendo.

Honestly, this is just another domino in a chain of dominos that has been falling since September 2024 that have been slowly making me dislike Nintendo for the first time in my life, and it's only getting worse. Like a very slow kind of worse, where you try to keep going but it slowly gets even harder to keep going, and you keep getting crushed over and over until you just drop to the ground in pain and misery and give up. And all of this is coming from me, who tries to be as positive as possible.

If I end up quitting Nintendo completely (which is not happening yet, at least for the time being), I'll probably still play some of the Nintendo games that I already have every once in a while. And I'll probably still chat with y'all in the forums and maybe comment in an article every once in a while. And if I ever need to take a break, I'll say I need one in the Vacation Thread. Also, if I'm done with Nintendo, then I'm certainly not getting a Switch 2. And this is coming from me, who just recently decided to get a Switch 2, potentially as soon as next year.

I'm just really upset right now, especially since this patent threatens JRPGs, which are my favorite kind of game. I probably won't be posting much else here for the rest of the day.

Again, I have no problems with any of you, I just have some beef with Nintendo and the Pokémon Company right now. I should still be present for the Nintendo Direct chat though. I'm really excited for that. 🥰

@OctolingKing13 It’s a candy based on the Crunch Bar, Buncha Crunch is bits of crisped rice covered in chocolate! Very sweet & bit crunchy but not extremely crunchy, I actually only had it for the first time a few months ago. There’s a fairly good amount of candy in the box & it’s worth the price in my opinion, especially since some other chocolate candy brands have only have half of the box filled. if I remember, it can be bought at Walmart & Dollar Tree.

I haven’t heard of Squashies before! What are they?

@Pastellioli that sounds absolutely delicious, and i say that as a fan of chocolate rice crispies! ill have to check it out sometime 🙂 its always soo disappointing when expensive candy boxes are halfway filled!
squashies are made by the brand that makes smarties i think, theyre pretty rare to find, but if you do, theyre are amazing. theyre a chewy fruit candy thats perfect in my opinion.

@OctolingKing13 You should! Very good, and worth the money. When you do, I hope you like them! And yeah, some of my favorite candy brands only fill half of the box and it’s disappointing. I like Junior Mints a lot but the one thing I don’t like about those is that only half of the box is full. I finish it way too fast because of that. The only candy brands I’ve eaten so far that fill the box a good amount is Buncha Crunch, Whoppers, and Goobers.

@PeterTomlan86 I think I played like 10 hours of it back in the day? I don't remember. I only played as the paladin. I actually did start a new game like a year or two ago, but I don't like its slow beginning. I don't remember what I thought of the narrative, but I often don't pay too much attention to the story when I play games. I tend to focus on gameplay, replay value, and music.

I actually have Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and I think it is a pretty good game. Love the exploration aspect of it... especially since I liked Breath of the Wild. Arceus is the one Pokemon game I have on the Switch. I've not played Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

Wooooooooo dragon quest 7 remake

There's a lot coming out. The Galaxy games are no surprise with a Galaxy movie, and the Yoshi game kinda isn't as well as we think about the last teaser from the first Mario Movie. I don't know, im not hyped for the Mario Movie now. Its now on Netflix and I dont think its that spectacular anymore. Hoping to see Wario in a movie about Galaxy isn't something I am thinking about but you never know.

I really hope Nintendo stupid patents will not granted as it will ruin almost every 3rd party games with those gameplay mechanic.
It will not make their current Pokemon games become better by patents every general gameplay mechanics.
In this case, I will choose the clones by 3rd party developers instead.

@reporterdavid what funny is I was not really excited for the sequel - not against it, just it didn't make me "feel" anything. But now that I see it's based on Galaxy to some extent? You had better believe I will be treating myself and my siblings (some of them, not all 6 😅) to an opening-night viewing!

Great idea! Passing by a piece of paper with a brief reminder of who you are and what you can be, before heading off for class. You're likely to be that very person in a long session who otherwise might make be stressed whatever problem comes to you.

If you take a look at Fantasy Life I past kingdom, from the folks outfits, the building architecture, the throne design, the furnitures, the foods they eat, you can tell it was based on Mayan civilization.
Even the storyline concept and the villain motivation with the cog gear and resetting back to zero, it was referred to Mayan calendar system that we had ever being paranoid with date 20 December 2012 which it said it will be "end of the world", but it was actually the counting in Mayan calendar system back to beginning again after long cycle and nothing bad happened.

I still have to respond to your response here, but just to be aware, I know it's you. I've just been busy enjoying Disney Speedstorm. Treated myself to the Alice in Wonderland season pass for Alice and extra rewards. Making good progress on it, I'm almost done with it (I'm at tier 47 now, the highest is 50). Also really liking Alice as a racer.

I have a plan to get PS5 version in physical since the Switch version only available in code in box, not the thing I want to buy.
I also heard the game get updated with new contents oftenly.
