I've seen this done on a few other forums. Basically take a screenshot of your desktop and post here. Show off your customising skills! But don't forget to blur/box out anything you don't want to share. Also, for the sake of the forum's width, just post the link, don't use IMG tags.
@Randoms - There is, and I'm the one that made it. Although unfortunately, I can't show personal files, meaning I can't show my desktop in all it's large glory.

Everytime I follow that link, Chrome screams malware warnings at me D: I'm guessing there's just a dodgy ad that's snuck onto there. I've reported it in the news forum, anyway. EDIT: Broke the link in the quote for the sake of safety for other forum members. It's probably nothing, or a bug in Chrome, but best to be on the safe side.
@Ramandus: Aye, it's Win 7. It's like Vista but miles faster and with some great features (the new taskbar is the best thing ever). I'd definitely recommend the upgrade for anyone still running Vista
I've been rockin' the icon-only taskbar for years. Apparently it's just now catching on with Windows 7 (my taskbar is docked vertically, on the left side of the screen, in Windows XP).

The thing with the Win 7 taskbar though is that it's sorta like an expanded Quick Launch - of all the programs on it there in the screenshot, the only ones which are actually opened are the first 3 and the last one (all the ones that are boxed). Windows from the same programs are grouped and can be switched between by a pop-up thumbnails list when you hover the mouse over it, and a variety of different program-specific tasks can be found on the right mouse button (such as opening a recent document, going to a specific folder, opening a new window, etc). It works out a lot more streamlined and intuitive than the old-style taskbar. Plus it does this neat light effect based on where your mouse cursor is when you hover over a button, using the most common colour in the icon for the light colour. I'm quite the fan of the new taskbar.
@Nintendork: Bobombs, Garfield and Peanuts (I think, the black and white one's a little hard to see)! A truly masterful combination But I vote you move the eyes over the top of a Bob-omb.
@Raylax - You're just making me look like I said that (which I haven't) just to be funny, right?
No, somehow when I quoted Raylax it inserted a quote tag above the quote with your name attached to it, so when he quoted me quoting him, the tags got mixed up, and his reply shows him quoting me quoting you, with an extra quote tag with his name above it.
