Well, I feel slightly dumb, this may be an April Fools joke >.<
It was pretty legit. After all, it's March 29th
Yeah, had this been a joke, it would have only confused viewers. Most likely production of the series has ceased at least for now. To be honest, it really isn't all that surprising; this was a Wii exclusive show, and to be frank, with Nintendo following its usual pattern for phasing out old hardware, there isn't too much for them to talk about. From what I've seen of the last few weeks, they've mostly focus on 3DS stuff, which could easily be covered by that other show on eShop. I was never too big on it, but I will admit that I did appreciate the sneak peaks and demonstrations they included in the show. Ultimately, Nintendo Week's cancellation is just Nintendo wrapping up another part of the Wii in favor of Wii U.
Edit: @PurpleLink To me, the wording of that quote is hilariously dramatic. A simple "The show ended production on March 29th, 2012" would have sufficed, but the inclusion of the word "forever" just makes me kinda crack up. Almost sounds like one of the jokes they would have ran on the series!
Wait a second... Now I'm wondering if there is something to this conspiracy theory... this... April Fools... hmm...

Dude, It says it at the end of Current Nintendo Week. But... This HAS to be wrong! The show was so good. Why would they end it? Only one way to find out... NEXT WEEK! ...Better be april fools...
Most Likely an April fools joke. I'm guessing when Wii U hits both shows will be merged. And i'm hoping Gary doesn't leave. Dude's a modern day nestor or in this case Nintendo's Major Nelson.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
They got rid of it because of the eShop one on 3ds. I personally liked the Wii one better. The 'I bet you haven't seen this in 3d before' is kind of pointless to me.
And also, of course if you've seen it, you've seen it in 3D because real life is in 3D!

This is no April Fools joke because 1 It looked pretty legit 2 Over the past 6 months, they were "jumping the shark" 3 The Wii is close to death, the Nintendo Channel may stop weekly video updates soon, similar to Wii no ma in Japan 4 Nintendo has another weekly show "Nintendo Show 3D" 5 It's not even April 1st
Gary officially announced that this would be his last episode of Nintendo Week followed by a disclaimer indicating that it was the final episode of Nintendo Week.
Nooooooooooooooooooo!!! Please don't go !!!! :[
