Starting Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter today, or at least I intend to. Is it possible to change the difficulty level after you start the game? I'm only finding answers for the original, not the remake.

@Nep-Nep-Freak Yep, its possible! The only caveat is that the achievement for beating the game at the highest difficulty is only avaliable for starting and ending with it and never switching off.

Just recently started playing Ys vs Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga, the crossover arena fighter for Falcom. And notably, it really does have broader coverage than just Ys and Trails. Oh, all the actual fighters are from those two series ( and from a fairly narrow coverage even by the then-contemporary standards, when it comes to Ys ). . . but there are plenty of cameos and references and the like to the broader Falcom catalog. Notably, the framing story draws heavily from Xanadu, and specifically the Xanadu Next version. There's also at least some music from Sorcerian.
