@Dogorilla Ah, thank you. Might be worth a try then. Steve Carrell is a good talent.

That problem was put to the screenwriters, who said that no one actually died. Or at least, she didn't consciously kill anyone. Like it was her powers out of control more than deliberate acts.

I think they were trying to thread the needle, making a dangerous villain threat for the movie, but at the same time not making her too unsympathetic for future installments.

@MontyCircus Lol. I think the REALLY REALLY good ones make my perception better of them than they might be. They are interesting, for sure. As I said, together, they can make me watch a film I might not have seen genre wise. Fargo is so good, it does a lot of heavy lifting on the reputation.

After Fargo, I said to myself: "Wow! William H. Macy is now one of my favourite actors!"

Then I checked out his next few projects and said: "...maybe I just love him in Fargo?"

I've been told to watch him in his show Shameless, but haven't yet gotten around to it.

@MontyCircus What about his role in Mystery Men as The Shoveler?

I changed upon watching Animals last night. It's a newish Netflix movie, starring Ben Affleck.

I didn't choose to watch any movie, let alone some Netflix filler, but someone else put it on (then fell asleep 10 minutes later), and I ended up watching it through to the end.

Probably not gonna go down well with the Los Angeles tourist board too well, but it's just an excuse to let Ben Affleck, playing a mayoral election candidate dealing with a very-close-to-home kidnapping just before the election, shout and swear plenty, and Gillian Anderson also features a fair amount. Not good, but somehow just about watchable (for Netflix tosh).

Also fairly recently watched another Netflix movie starring Affleck and Matt Damon - The Rip - where they played cops together. This one was a bit more interesting (I'll watch almost anything with Matt Damon) 'cos it's apparent there's at least one bent cop involved but you're not sure which one it is.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
