I heard the original series was ended because Mike Judge got tired of the strain on his voice.
Never thought we'd see new shows again but it's good to have them back.

I thought it ended because of all the drama it caused (also possibly because of Mike working on King of the Hill). Anyways, great to see 'em back! The new age of retro revival marches on!

Anyone notice Beavis sounded a little strange? Like maybe Mike is rusty since he hasn't done their voices in a long time.
It just seemed a little off to me. I'm sure he'll get the hang of it again.

The demise began when that idiot kid burned down his mother's trailer and blamed it on B&B. After that, MTV wouldn't let them do anything dangerous and it became more about their stupidity than their behavior.

Good it looks like the Beavis and Butthead of old. I'm glad they didn't make a lot of changes. I was cracking up in that clip. It makes me want to rewatch all the old ones on Netflix again. It's been a long time.

Bit of a love or hate cartoon thankfully I loved it can't wait for more, also liked the Goode Family another cartoon created by Mike Judge after King of the Hill too bad it was quickly cancelled before it had the chance to develop.

I was skeptical but this looks pretty good so far. The whole Jersey Shore part was hilarious.

Beavis and Butt-head was funny back in the 90s because it was the raunchier alternative to The Simpsons. After it ended we got shows like South Park, then Family Guy and Adult Swim quickly took over.

Adult cartoons have changed way too much since Beavis and Butt-head's time. People might watch this for a bit because of nostalgia, but let's be serious for just a minute. The comedy of Beavis and Butt-head just isn't funny anymore.

Umm actually I still find Beavis and Butthead really funny. Back then and now still and im 28. While I find South Park funny, Family Guy is awful so don't assume that just because you don't find something funny that it flat out isn't.

I never liked this show but the new one looks exactly like the old one. Amazing how they didn't change up the art style. I'm sort of happily surprised although I don't like the show. BTW I'm also thankful FOX kept Bob's Burgers instead of cancelling it.

I agree man. I never could stand King of the Hill. I have a mortal HATRED for The Cleveland Show and American Dad. I only put up with Family Guy rarely because of Stewie and all the Star Wars references in the show. I don't really like The Simpsons but I do like all the funny between Bart and Homer and Bob's Burgers isn't awful.

There'll always be a need for the slapstick and juvenile comedy like that Beavis & Butthead offer (especially when stupidity is rampant among humans, thus they'll always be appreciated)! Maybe there's more sophisticated cartoons these days, but simple comic goodness and fun is what B & B are all about! After all, they're morons (and I say that with the utmost affection and reverence). In all the years humans have been educated at places called skool, has the class clown ever grown obsolete?

Oh and I love that B & B have their crosshairs on reality TV. There's no better target on TV more deserving of ridicule than insipid friggin reality shows! Just a shame it'll be limited to MTV programs. Guess music videos will no longer be targeted since "reality killed the video star"!
