I’m a musician and audio producer and am ready to make this happen. I’d love to get a co-host from the UK so we cover both sides of the sites spectrum.
I’m also a little concerned about the legality of this so, consider this the start of a rolling ball.
We would discuss the front page, potentially discuss reviews with their reviewers, go over hot topics in the forums, questions, done. Of course format would be bendable but regularly that’s how this thing would go.
NintendoLife, I want to pitch this to you. Let me make it happen.
@Qualitybeats first of all, sorry for the slow reply... this has been sat in my inbox for quite a while
We've dabbled with podcasts before and to be honest the appetite from our readers isn't that strong for it. Plus, they are quite a lot of work to curate, record, edit and publish on a regular basis. All of our core team are busy enough writing content and therefore we've never really put this at the top of our priorities.
I don't have any major objections to having an (official) unofficial podcast that can try and find an audience, then if it did well, who knows, it could become the official one
However, the fact you've not followed up on this before now also makes me think you perhaps like the idea but have had second thoughts since

@antdickens I will gather my resources, find a co-host, and put together a pilot episode for the podcast. Then I could either publish, or send it to you to curate it and then give me the thumbs up on it being A-ok. You pick? I'd title the podcast "The NintendoLife (official) Unofficial Podcast"

I would say I want @ogo79 as a special guest but no podcast can handle that much sexiness
when things like this get "organized" its usually @the_shpydar, @bezerker99 and myself that tend to hang around until 5 am.
sometimes weirdos show up but they dont hang around long. probably n64 fans. or mario. or sonic. like i said they are weirdos.
speaking of weirdos @TheLZdragon used to show up as well.
