Because Flipnote doesn't have the inks and tools that MyNotebook has, and as popular as Flipnote is, its simply not ideal for notetaking and writing... It is a drawing app and just between you and me, that Hatena website (and support for their website) downwright blows.

I find flipnote is good for making dated reminders, but that's about it. It's just too awkward and weird to try and write notes with it. I'll be getting at least one of these notbooks since they're only 200 points.
Not ideal? I disagree. On the smallest pencil size, writing is quick and easy - and it's no trouble at all to create yourself a notebook template in a second layer of black with many more pages than the 32 you'll get out of MyNotebook.
You've got shortcuts to your eraser in two swift pushes of the A button, and you can quickly clear a layer with a press of the X button. Plus you can record sounds - assuming you're using this for actual note taking, verbally adding in your own thoughts or examples increases the functionality a lot.

Hey BB... well i hope so too... we still got 2 mondays left thr 19th and the 26th... if they dont come out either of those mondays then theres something wrong or it might get delayed like Nov or something... u just never know man and i know i want it too, also my Solitaire DSi and Ghostwire - that should be out before Halloween since its a scary type of game as well.. we'll find out and see BB... only 2 more days until we hit the 19th of Monday to see what we get this time!

Hey BB, you do know that real, palm sized notebooks cost like 50 cents and have more pages to them (and they're not awkward to write on)?

Did you know that instead of playing on a handheld, you could just draw your own games and use your imagination to play them out.
Convenience costs money and many people prefer it.
Thanks for making my point for me. It's NOT convenient to write on those tiny screens. You can write more on a small legal pad page than on a DSi screen. You don't have to charge up a little notebook. It's basic functions are already on Flipnote. Etc.
