the game is imagine: makeup artist !

hi there, i faintly remember a game i used to play when i was a kid. it was a download on a multi-game cartridge my friends dad had put together for me that had been since lost. i can’t really remember a whole ton about the game.
i know the character you played was a girl & she had a few romantic interests throughout the game. there were mini games like decorating cakes & other stuff but the main thing i remember is a specific npc. the npc was like a mini angel or sprite or imp that was named niko or nico. i just remember because i thought it was weird to have the little angel guy interacting with all the other people.

if you can help, i’d appreciate it! if not, i understand, it’s not probably a well known game.

edit
i kind of remember more of the context of the game. i think the character you play is someone who is visiting their friends over a summer or something. i kind of remember a fireworks cut scene at the very end of the game.
the console i played on was a DS Lite.

Which console was it for?

I'm going to have a punt at Cake Mania. (I honestly have no idea. Sorry!)

@GrailUK
unfortunately it isn't Cake Mania. it's more of a dating type/romance game than that one.
thank you so much for trying though!!

On a side note: those multi-game cartridges often contain fake or bootleg games, so chances of you finding the exact game again, which by the way might also be a Japanese game that was translated into English, are very slim to say the least, because chances are that its name isn't even officially registered in the official release list of DS titles.

@reyaskcin
probably around a decade ago? i would've been like 8-10 when i played it.
it was in english; i'm in the US

@ThanosReXXX
it's none of those games.
honestly, it probably was a japanese game that was translated. i remember the characters being similar to Style Savvy. i know the specific multi cartridge used was a "DSTT for NDS/NDSL" that has "www.NDSTT.com" listed on the front of it.

@darlingfeathers Well, in that case, the best advice I can give you is to use Google and/or DuckDuckGo image search, switch off all filtering such as safe search and then enter the following, for example:

"NDS multi cartridge NDSTT.com" or "Nintendo DS multi cart", and see if you recognize any of the images that come up in those search results.

EDIT:
Here you go, an example:
https://www.google.nl/search?q=Nintendo+DS+multi+cart&tbm...

@darlingfeathers You're welcome.

P.S.

The reason for using multiple search engines is that most of them use varying algorithms, meaning they'll probably also yield varying results to some extent. Use both side by side on their own tabs, and you'll see what I mean.

honestly, it’s probably just your run of the mill girls game. i liked playing it as a kid, but that could just be because i wasn’t ever allowed to play with real makeup haha.

i ordered a game off of ebay for like a couple bucks & i’ll update you once i’ve gotten the chance to play it
