Yes. With the exception of toys to life games like Lego Dimensions, every retail game since Nintendo Network launched in 2012 has been available on the eShop.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
The first Final Fantasy Music Game thing is also retail exclusive, but Explorers is on the Japanese eshop so it's safe to assume it'll be in the Eshop around the world.

I sure hope so. I can't get it otherwise. I asked on the Squeenix forums, but it seems like the likelihood of my question being answered is slim to none.

It's getting a online demo in Japan so I'm sure they will do the same everywhere else. It's a new type of FF experience so I would expect them to do it.

Went ahead and pre purchased it =] I got to admit, its the first time I pre order a game digitally XD its nice seeing the icone on my home screen even before the game actually came out XD
On another note, have no clue about which job to try >< so many good ones XD
