Digimon Story: Time Stranger is getting a major DLC expansion in 2027 titled A Hero's Eternal Legacy, Bandai Namco has announced.

The new trailer showcases some gorgeous gameplay set in a wide open space with lots of Digimon to take on. In fact, there are over 50 new Digimon to collect in what is being described as "an all-new adventure".

There's no firm release date for this one yet, but it looks good. We'll be keeping a close eye on it.

"In Digimon Story Time Stranger: A Hero’s Eternal Legacy, a new hero emerges as players embark on a journey of courage and friendship through the unexplored lands of Iliad. Along the way, they will encounter more than 50 new Digimon in this all-new adventure."

In our review for Time Stranger, we said that its "monster-battling is as fun as ever, and the time-hopping, dimension-crossing story is a blast from start to finish", awarding it a score of 9/10.
