We're already at the grinding stages of Splatoon 3! That's right, we're working our little socks off trying to see everything there is to see in Splatoon 3 — not just for our benefit, but for you, the lovely readers too.
We say we, but leading the charge is our resident Splatoon expert Alex over on the video team. And he thought "hey, I need to get some Splatoon 3 in today — why not share the experience with everyone else?" So, that's what he's doing!
Alex will be grinding out wins from 6am PDT / 9am EDT / 2pm BST / 9pm AWST to unlock everything Splatoon amiibo-related! That means we'll be flinging plenty of ink for the next few hours.

I keep getting "a communication error has occurred". I've done everything internet related (even ethernet) and it still won't work, any suggestions?
I'm just going through the Single Player Campaign atm and some of the Stages are just insufferable because of the weapon or weapons you have to use to clear them. As for the online I haven't had any issues at all, no disconnecting nothing.
Alas, my full-time job is not playing video games - the injustice!!

Specifically the part at the bottom about changing the MTU settings. Not sure if it was a placebo effect or not, but it definitely seems to help.
@Stnkygrngo facts! I was in high school when Spla2n came out, now I'm in college haha! I bought Splat3 but I've only been able to play a few hours and dorm wifi is terrible, so not the same experience.
I make the time to grind even though I'm busy. I must get that dab emote! lol
I tried getting into Splatoon 3 over the weekend and I just couldn't get hooked. Went back to Cult of the Lamb.
@Desrever Thanks for the help but I already tried that and nothings worked. Its fully updated as well (1.1.1). I guess its just a soft problem and will be fixed in a patch. Thanks for the help though

I’m happy I skipped splatoon 2. I enjoyed it on Wii U, and it was a nice break until 3. Now I play 3-5 matches a day and move on. Tons of fun. But I can’t play it for hours on end.
