Digimon Survive might not be exactly what everyone was expecting it to be, but it's still one of the best-presented visual novel experiences of 2022 - and is well worth a look if you're a fan of Bandai's digital monsters series.
With this in mind, Bandai Namco has now updated this latest game in the series to Version 1.03. It addresses some issues, including a bug in Chapter 10 that prevented players from proceeding. Bandai Namco originally identified this issue in August.
And here are the latest patch notes (via Perfectly-Nintendo), including a fix for this:
Digimon Survive - Version 1.03 (September 28th, 2022)
- fixes an issue causing players not to be able to select functions other than “Free Battle”, and therefore preventing them from proceeding with the story event, in Chapter 10
- Workaround: Do not select “Event Battle” in Chapter 10 when the number of Free actions is at 1, or load an earlier save.

Must've been an early access-only chapter.
A little embarrassing to have a progress stopping bug in the most vital menu screen in the game lol.
Now I have to go back to the game...with all the backlogs.
