Last week, we learned that Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments is headed to Nintendo Switch thanks to a shiny new Switch eShop listing. The game's launching on the platform on 3rd February and is currently available to pre-order at 15% off its regular price.
If you've been considering picking it up but want to see a little more before taking the plunge, perhaps these brand new screenshots will come in handy. The six new screenshots below show the game running on Switch – take a look:
If you're liking what you see, the game will be available from 3rd February for $29.99 – although, as mentioned above, you can currently get it for a bit cheaper. Also, anyone who owns The Sinking City on Switch will save another 10%. Not bad!
What do you think? Are you tempted to give this one a go? Let us know in the usual place.

It does feel a bit like they’ve commissioned a port of a well old game with dodgy graphics because there’s a new one out on more powerful hardware. I fully believe Chapter One could have been ported, although it runs like ass on PS5 never mind Switch.
Day one... on the wish list. I'll buy it day one, when the price goes below, let's say, 7-ish euro's, preferably 5. If it doesn't go there, no problem plenty of other games to play and other goals that can be easier to achieve with some money aside.
looks mighty fine
Looks a bit better than The Sinking City, from these screenshots. Also looks like seamless interiors because you can see through the windows to the inside of the building in one of those screenshots.
The Sinking City technically had seamless interiors, but the windows were always blocked out and some of the bigger interiors still took a few seconds to load upon entering. The only way I won't get this is if it's scientifically unplayable due to performance. Very excited. Looking good to me.
I've just finished The Sinking City, I bought it on a sale not so long ago and it was a good surprise ! So I'm thinking about buying this one day one...
I haven’t played this game before. And I’m intrigued! Guess I’m the target audience!
I loved this game on the Xbox One! I can't wait to jump back in on my Switch
I would have preferred to see Sherlock Holmes vs Jack The Ripper (such an interesting game!), but I will take this!
Interesting. They def went with a David Burke based Watson there, I do deduce.
Is this a point and click or do you control Sherlock Holmes yourself?
@Mana_Knight Don't quote me, but I believe it's a lot like The Sinking City, where you control the character like any other 3rd person game and you approach objects and people to talk to them or investigate.
@Astral-Grain Thank you¬!
