Um... well, it's a prototype alright. Probably a PAL version (which means there's probably not much interesting since it's an NTSC-origin game), by the -P mark, but other than that there's nothing to say with no other pictures, information or anything.

Thanks for your info, KingMike.

But when I tested it now, it doesn't work on a SNES PAL console without a NTSC converter. And what more other pics are you refering to? And there is hardly any info about this SOE prototype, that's why I try to get more through this forum. I have tried on NintendoAge, I have searched through ebay and amazon, both US and JAP. Do I have the only SOE proto now left in the world?

Secret of Evermore was actually released in the PAL region. (Unlike FFIII/Chrono Trigger/FFII).

Ty for your info, strange that I need a converter to play it on my PAL console though. Anyway, so what is your opinion/thoughts about this prototype then? Do you gave any ideas where more info is to be found? Value? I have been in contact with SNES Central, and Evan have been very helpful.

No idea. I think it is interesting that uses DIP's.

I think it was standard on Nintendo prototypes. The DIPs allowed developers to reuse one cart to test multiple games with different sized ROMs.

Meh SOE died with the third installment on the SNES. After that every other game fails to do what the original did.
