Recently modders found a vulnerability In 3DS and Wii U games and some Switch games have fixed this, this vulnerability would mean anybody could control your system and steal personal information Just by being In the same lobby, this Is not a new thing as a few of my friends reported hackers hanging out In PS3 games not starting the game
Of course this was patched In MK8D, Splatoon 2, 3, Arms, MK7
But does this mean I shouldn't be playing Wii U and 3DS online anymore? what about lower priority games on switch that aren't likely to get a patch?
It would be extremely unlikely for Nintendo to patch every single 3DS and Wii U game and this could spell the end of those official servers
Yes Pretendo have made their own patch but I would rather wait to see what Nintendo are going to do
We don't give them enough credit, when the Wii Shop was broken It took them awhile but they did eventually fix It, they didn't have to do that but they did.
Well it would bring more clarity if you brought a list of which games had these vulnerabilities.
Furthermore this probably depends if people still have "information" like saved credit cards which I also doubt due to how they are no longer supported.
What you're presenting right now is too vague, sources and more elaboration would be very much appreciated.
