Topic: Nintendo Switch Online Playtest 2025

I got selected to participate in the new switch online playtest but whenever I open the software I get an error saying “This service is currently unavailable” and won’t let me continue. Is this happening with anyone else?

bringing this back somewhat randomly! i'm taking a quick relisten to the ost of the playtest (i'm not telling you where to find it, but it's not particularly hard) and... it's so lovely. invokes a lot of wii series vibes, and they made so many songs!! from my count, there are about 70 unique songs here, ignoring variants.

now, because of that sheer length, i'm now wondering.. what ever happened to the playtest? it has now been about 8 months since the second closed beta (granted, the gap between the first and second was almost exactly 9 months, so maybe it'll show up soon...), and i highly doubt they made all this stuff just to throw it away. surely, nintendo wouldn't make a full game ost for a prototype online game and never use it again... right?

if you bother with finding and listening to the ost, let me know what you think! do you think it'll show up again soon? perhaps some elements of it went into other games?
