I love those kind of game but don't have friends that want to take time to play them... So I would like to buy Carcassonne on Switch but is it good? I know it's probably better on multi-player but if I play this more alone is the AI good? Thanks!
Sorry if my english isn't good... At least I try :-)
I'd also like some opinions on the Switch version. I do enjoy the game in general, but given the price i'd like to hear some feedback before potentially buying it. Too bad there's no demo.

Yeah it's seem good but the price make me wish there was a demo before I bought it...

Yeah board games are definitely better with real people but since it's easier to play them on console for me... :-/ Thanks for the information! I'll try this!

I heard this version is a basic-looking, barebones adaption made by a different developer. Other than the name it might have no connection with the shiny and popular XBox version. At least, those who have the XBox version all seem disappointed with the Switch version.
The developer Asmodee Digital releases more Switch adaptions soon: Catan Universe, Munchkin, Pandemic, and The Lord of the Rings - Living Card Game.
This version is brand new though, while the XBox version has been out for ages so it's not really a fair comparison. Just give them time for Asmodee to catch up. They already released Inns and Cathedrals on PC. No idea if Switch version has it yet.
As for the game itself, it's pretty good. I love digital board game adaptations since I can't play the real games, but I never play the PC/mobile versions with people though. I am fine with the AI. Steam: Rails to Riches and Through the Ages are my favourites.

Thanks, this was exactly the sort of info i wanted to know. I have the game on 360 (XBLA) and was wondering how the Switch compared to that one.
I'm glad to see that a version of Catan is getting a Switch release as well; that i'll almost certainly pick up (depending on price and overall impressions). I do wish the developer would put out some demos of their games, though.
