Topic: I can't buy some games

So I was looking on the eshop and for some reason some games I was not allowed to look at and I have no clue why I don't have parental controls on and when I tried to turn them on to see if I could make me be able to look at the games it said that the account was not allowed to have them on

Are you under 18? If your account is set to be under 18 you can’t view rated M games.

@Namepotato Side note: If the age of the nintendo account was set for under 18, it cannot be changed. Or maybe that's for all accounts, regardless of age. I don't think nintendo allows birth date changing. (disregard if you already know)

Does your Mom and Dad know your are looking at games they don't want you to look at?

Sounds more like age restriction more then a Region restriction here. One needs to contact Nintendo if that is the case they are the only one that can make that change.

@Tasuki Could be a glitch. I had this happen on my account for a few days earlier this month and I'm in my 30's so there was absolutely no reason it should have happened in my case.

I don’t know but I’m sure some people put a fake birthdate on their systems just so that they can get into the m rated games. I would never do it though. I’m 46 all ready.

For real, I never thought of that would happen. Instead, I just created accounts with different login so my nephew didn't have to go through that hassle. easy peasy done....

Call Nintendo, or ask someone about removing Parental Controls on your Nintendo Switch.

@D20N20 I’m alot bigger than 4 ft 6 and also I am really 46 years old I was born in 1977.

@LinkxPeach I don’t have parental controls on my devices set I know better and I am not a parent and I don’t have kids.

Sorry about that. I assumed you had kids, or something.
