Topic: DC Universe Online

Not sure whether it was appropriate to necro the old thread or make a new one but aparrently this game has been announced for Nintendo Switch. (I'll be happy to move this to the old thread if a mod has an opinion, maybe it's better for a new one so it's in the right category)

Though I hate CBR for their general lack of knowledge of comic book related things, clickbait articles and their nonsensical political agenda pushing (they have at least one good writer though), they have the "exclusive":

I had my fill of DCUO on the PS3 back in the day, so this news doesn't interest me at all. However, there's a lack of mmo games on the Switch, so there definitely would be some who would check it out. It's still F2P if I remember correctly? It's not a bad game, although I would've preferred ESO or FFXIV first instead.

@Magician yeah it is f2p I think. Not sure if any games reverted back after becoming f2p.

I could never get into it on PS3, I don't really understand how to play typical MMOs and unfortunately don't have enough time to learn how.

Oooh, it's out today. I missed it back in the day and then forgot about it so I'm looking forward to this.

The game runs smoothly

Early impressions all seem to suggest that the Switch version runs well and is worthwhile to play. I have to admit I'm tempted. DCUO appears to be the best available MMO on Switch.

It run so well nice to see this type of game run smooth on Switch no lag no complaints love it.

I'm happy to see that this is showing up for those who can play MMOs, but I have a predisposition to addiction, so I don't really feel comfortable playing that.

I'd really love if WB interactive could put Injustice 2 on Switch though. I'd play the sh*t out of that. I'm a huge DC comics fan.
