So, I recently had the misfortune of losing my copy of Dark Souls Remaster a few months ago when I got in a wreck and had to get a new car (In my rush to clean out my wrecked car, I forgot to check under my seat which is where I had stored the game, which I used for a prop in a theatre project). "No big deal," I thought to myself. I remembered that, a few months earlier, the game could be had for $20 at pretty much any retailer.
And then I checked Amazon. Then ebay. Even Gamestop. I could not find a used copy for cheaper than $60! What happened? It sold pretty well--better than it did on Xbox One--and not that much worse than the PS4 port. You can find copies on both of those consoles for $15 or so, which makes me wonder what happened with the Switch port. Why is it so expensive? I'd like to physically replace it, so I'll probably end up biting the bullet.
