So they will bundle the 3 already existing packs in one on Switch? That would be interesting. I haven't bought them on Xbox One. On Switch I'd miss the achievements, though.

@Moroboshi876 Well it says online, so maybe they will have achievements built in.

@Bunkerneath I can't see the link I guess you shared. It just says "Untitled", but it's not a link.

I doubt, though, the Switch has shareable achievements at any point. It hasn't been implemented yet and I don't think it ever will. In-game achievements make no sense to me, the best part of them is sharing for others to see. And the way this console is made, with no interface like Xbox Live, makes it actually difficult to be seen by others.

@Moroboshi876 Not sure why, but i get that sometimes, it's not a link it's a picture of the front cover.
If this happens to me I put the website in a different web browser and normally it works.

@Bunkerneath I've looked in the forums and there are many tips for formatting, but I can't find the image embedding one.

Anyway, I googled it and yes, it will be retail and with the 150 games the other systems have in 3 volumes. So it's great. Although I don't know if those games deserve a 40 price tag. Maybe it's a little steep for what it is.

It's nice they put them all together, although understandable too. If they were going to make a retail version anyway, and they absolutely fit in the smallest card, let's do this right. They could have also done like SNK with the 40th Anniversary Collection and make some of them as free DLC, but I'm glad they didn't.

@Bunkerneath Yep! Thanks for the list of games, too. Lots of good stuff in there.

After looking through the list, I'm a little bummed at this collection. I had a 7800 when I was a kid, so the first and biggest checkmark against it is that there are no 7800 games. The 7800 was backwards compatible with 2600 cartridges, so I did have some, but most of the games I had aren't on here, like Moon Patrol, Pitfall, Pitfall 2, Spy Hunter, etc.

I may look into it again when it's on sale, but for now I'm going to pass. I was really excited when I saw this topic too. Oh well, maybe a 7800 collection can be had in the future.

And then we all realize that those old Atari games aren't nearly as good as we remember. Ha ha!

If it's not too expensive, I could see myself buying this.

I remember one of the DS games had an Atari 400 emulator and you could program your own things using Basic.

That would be cool to have on the switch.

It also had A Game of Concentration and Brain Games, which I really liked.

Yeah it was very before my time too.

Which I guess it's why I liked those two games, they're very functional, very clear, and mostly just like toys.

150 games, but they can't have Vanguard?
Still neat though.
