This applies to both Switch and Switch 2 however assuming the deal is still going. If you have the physical Skyrim cartridge you can upgrade to Skyrim Anniversary Switch 1 version for £10.79 and then play the game and from within the game get a free upgrade to the Switch 2 version on a Switch 2. Then you can sell on the original cartridge and still have access to the original skyrim digitally and Anniversary versions on both Switches. At least that is what happened to me and has been reported by others too. So £10.79 gets you digital access to all Switch Skyrims if you have or can borrow a Skyrim cartridge.

However worth googling to make sure this workaround/hack still works and the full correct procedure. The point is don't ever buy the Anniversary Switch 2 version directly. However for the moment the £10.79 UK price is back.

Historically the lowest price for Skyrim Anniversary was June 2024 of £7.19 and if you have that don't forget to do your free upgrade to Switch 2 version from within the game if you get a Switch 2. Since Switch 2 came out the lowest price has been £10.79.
