Capcom is on fire this gen producing amazing games for all platforms and Switch 2 has been widely supported. However I notice a weird trend that annoys me in their games. It’s a very common practice in console gaming to render UI elements and texts in max resolution while content renders at lower resolution with upscaling techniques.

However, in Switch 2 both Pragmata and Requiem seems to render everything at 1080p post-DLSS upscaling which makes even subtitles look blurry. Not sure if it’s the same in other Switch 2 games but Capcom’s stand out to me.

What do you think? Is there any reason for this? Can we somehow contact Capcom to ask for comments?

This isn't the case with Monster Hunter Stories 3: the gameplay content is a bit blurry, but the UI is super crisp, clearly rendering at a higher resolution. So it doesn't seem to be an issue with all new Capcom games running on the RE Engine.

@Polvasti That’s good to know. There is room for optimizations then in future patches.
