am i the only person who feels that sony and microsoft has not jumped on the next gen bandwagon yet that the general public are not informed or excited yet. The fact that nintendo released their system so much earlier than competitors makes me feel like they were thinking " well we have this system ready for release but the competition wont release for another year, love it lets just do it, it's just extra money before real competition comes!". Idk thats the vibe I always get.

@gamerchick, try monster hunter since you like working towards a similar goal, also zombiu was amazing on the wiiu!

People buy consoles for a lot of.things convenience, first party games, etc. But if these nay sayers are so concerned about graphics, buy a nice pc! Console will never compete until small chips and hardware technology pretty much peak. Period.doesn't make sense to me all how useless this argument is.

Well trine 2 's patch allowed multiple updates one being voice chat, and its through the gamepad Mic, monster hunter will have the same kind of voice chat support, hopefully after swing this is possible they do that for black ops! It's silly not to.

Side note, how amazing would it be to take a game like double dragon or contra, and add online co-op and achievements! just saying Nintendo, ppl would bow to you!

I have super metroid for snes, but the convenient e of it on the wiiu will be excellent at such a great deal. Cash in some of my prime member ship currency!

I hope he announces wiiu and 3ds miiverse intigration update , a universal voice chat update, some multiplayer dlc for zombiu or games like Nintendo land, some new indie games coming to eshop, zelda, metroid, Mario kart, animal crossing, a new first person like shooter franchise by Nintendo, anounce a price cut in motion plus remotes and tvii news! lol that was a fun rant!

If the wiiu is weaker then current gen. Then why does it all ready have trine 2 which apperently other systems couldn't support, it looks amazing btw. Also it has current games like mass effect, black ops 2 and they not only look great but they also support a completely other screen while playing.

I almost bought the wiiU just for this, and the assumption of all top franchises. I am ecstatic about the gamepad voice chat. I was going to use game pad anyways, manage inventory nicely, now built mic for voice chat, pop my headphones in if I'd like, beautiful!! I played tri a lot, and I'm still going to play the demo just to satisfy cravings!

@DarkCoolEdge its the same with scribblenauts ultimate. its what 60 retail on wii u, i saw it durring the holiday for like 20 something on steam. granted i do appreciate playing gmes from the comforts of my couch, and i would not want to play that wth out the game pad!!!

i didnt even now about the dlc, i care more about voice chat on multiplayer for extended playability. I also bought this game on sale anticipating it all ready had voice chat or would soon so i could play with my buddy and strangers. i havent reccomend him getting it yet because the lack of update.
